Despite the variety of templates and forms, the content is always the same and should contain 4 main blocks:

Information about the job seeker.

Surname, First Name and Patronymic (optional, but desirable) – in large letters, so you can immediately see the name (at the interview they call by name, but not always remember it, and so one look and that’s it). Age, as well as date of birth, contact information (phone preferably mobile, e-mail is mandatory), ICQ and Skype optional. Still depends on the field of activity, if for example IT – you can leave, and if no – no. Marital status you can specify, but you can and do not, again, depends on the situation.

So in this block it is desirable to specify the purpose of obtaining a position: for example, gaining unique experience, you need to work part-time, I want to develop, etc. Do not write that you work for the money, firstly, it is obvious, and secondly, it is not very nice to hear the head.

Education

School, of course, is not worth mentioning, but you must specify the name of your university. Full name of the institute, faculty, specialty. If the position is related to your thesis or you did an internship in an organization close in spirit to the one where you send your CV – specify that too. If there is no connection – do not specify.

If during this time you had any achievements (Olympiads, conferences) you can mention it, but particularly not to focus attention.

A separate item Additional education – this is a variety of courses, additional knowledge that you have received.

Work experience

Previous jobs should be listed in reverse chronological order, i.e. the most recent on top, the oldest at the bottom. It is necessary to indicate the periods of work, the full name of the organization, the position held, job duties, as well as successes, if they can be described (a new system of goods accounting was introduced, sales figures increased by 15%).

If you held different positions in the same organization, you should write as separate places of work.

Additional information

In this section you can add some of your personal achievements, positive qualities, characteristics. Typically, this section will include the following:

  • knowledge of languages (English: conversational, German: basic);
  • skills and abilities (office programs, Photoshop, basic programming);
  • Personal achievements, such as sports;
  • personal qualities (diligence, quick study, punctuality…), etc.

The data must be truthful. Sections can be rearranged, differently named, but all these items must be. Read the resume examples 2022.
